Ty is a girl who’s life has been easy and full of luxury, yet feels like she doesn’t belong until she meets McKenzie. The girls randomly become friends as they realize each other’s lives represent what they both long for or wish they were.

The Story: “A ROGUE state of mind”
(Concept/story written by Sandra Saenz)

While having her usual Friday dinner with friends, Ty hears someone talk about this “secret vip” party taking place inside an old mall that has been shut down for years. Rumor has it that only the cool kids, the rebels, the rogue at heart, would attend. Ty decides to show up uninvited.

She decides to scout the back-end of the mall were she meets McKenzie -another self invitee who’s been stuck in the freight elevator. As both continue the quest, McKenzie opens up to Ty about coming from a rough side of town, were she feels she doesn’t belong. While very similar, yet very different, both girls share past experiences and passions with each other. Throughout the night the girls keep going up and down in freight elevators, walking through hallways and making quick stops at grungy bathrooms all while trying to find “Rogue” – the new nickname for the unfound party. Time passed by and both girls came to the conclusion that there isn’t such party taking place, so they decided to make their own and so they partied the night away. They danced to the beat of their heels echoing through the deserted hallways  in their own solitude and fabulous outfits. Them rebels.
